Le Docteur Chaibi a obtenu son baccalauréat en philosophie au lycée Pierre de Fermat à Toulouse.

Ses études de dentisterie ont été sanctionnées par un diplome de Docteur d'Etat en Médecine Dentaire de l'Université de Monastir simultanément à une formation en Biomatériaux à l'Université de Nice. 

Il a obtenu son Master of Science in Oral Biology et sa Spécialité en Parodontologie à l'Université de Boston dans un programme officiel de l'Académie Américaine de Parodontologie et a été instructeur en recherche fondamentale puis professeur de Parodontologie au programme de Spécialité de l'Université de Boston.

Le docteur Chaibi exerce sa Spécialité en Tunisie depuis 1996 en étroite collaboration avec une équipe de praticiens référants.
